Maybe this is what you are looking for. It is from The Joy of Cooking.
PINEAPPLE DRESSING
Heat: 3 Tblsp. cooking oil
Brown in it lightly: 1/4 cup finely minced onion
Add and cook for 1 minute: 1/3 c. chopped carrot, 1 c. chopped celery, 2 T. chopped parsley, 1 cup cooked rice, 2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. paprika, 1/4 tsp. ground cloves.
Add and mix well: 1 cup drained crushed pineapple, 1/4 cup raisins, 2 cups dry bread crumbs.
This is a good filling for a crown roast of pork. Makes about 4 cups.
