Recipe: Pollo Picante (using Minute Rice, cream of chicken soup, and picante sauce)

POLLO PICANTE

3 cups cooked Minute Rice
1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
3 cups diced cooked chicken
1 (16 oz.) jar Pace picante sauce
1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated

Cook rice according to package directions.

While rice is cooking, combine soup, milk, onion, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Mix thoroughly.

Layer ingredients in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish in this order: Chicken, rice, soup mixture, picante sauce, and cheese. Repeat layers.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
