Recipe: Pork Chops 'n Kraut (microwave)

Pork Chops 'n Kraut (microwave)
alt.support.diet.low-carb/bugbite (2003)

3 cups drained and rinsed sauerkraut
3 Tbsp. brown sugar substitute or SF maple syrup
1 small onion, chopped
5 to 6 pork chops, 1/2-inch thick or a Polsa Kielbasa sliced into 2 inch chunks

Spread sauerkraut in the bottom of a 12 x 8-inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar substitute and chopped onion. Arrange chops or sausage on sauerkraut with larger edges toward sides of dish. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on High for 25 to 30 minutes or until chops
are tender, rotating dish once. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Drizzle with mustard before serving.
