Recipe: Quick Corn Bread Sticks (using Bisquick and buttermilk, baked in loaf pans)

2 eggs
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Yellow cornmeal
Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Grease 2 loaf pans, 9x5x3 inches.
Beat eggs in large bowl with hand beater until fluffy. Beat in baking mix, 1 cup cornmeal, the buttermilk and oil just until smooth. (Do not over-beat.)
Pour into pans. Sprinkle lightly with cornmeal.
Bake about 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pans. Cut each loaf into 8 sticks.
Makes 16 servings
