ASIAN GRILLED SHRIMP SALAD
1 envelope Good Seasons Asian Sesame Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup oil
2 Tbsp. dry sherry
1 lb. shrimp, cleaned
4 wooden skewers*
1 pkg. (10 oz.) romaine lettuce
1 cup cucumber slices
1/4 cup green onion slices
1/4 cup Planters Slivered Almonds, toasted**
1/4 cup chow mein noodles
Mix salad dressing mix, juice, oil and sherry until well blended. Remove 1/4 cup of the dressing mixture; refrigerate for later use.
Toss shrimp with remaining dressing mixture; cover. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.
Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade. Insert shrimp onto skewers.
Preheat greased grill to medium-high heat.
Grill shrimp 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until shrimp turn pink. Cool 5 minutes. Remove shrimp from skewers.
Toss lettuce with cucumbers, onions, almonds and noodles in large bowl. Add shrimp and reserved dressing mixture; mix lightly.
*Soak skewers in warm water to prevent burning.
**HOW TO TOAST NUTS
Spread nuts in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 5 to 7 minutes or until lightly toasted.
