Recipe(tried): re: Chiffon Cake
Misc. I have a great recipe for Chocolate Chiffon cake with chocolate mousse filling. Yes- you do need to turn the pan upside down to cool- and do not grease it as the cake will fall out on the counter - (ask me how I know...I've done it) and also make sure you fold the egg whites into the batter- do not stir them as it will take out all the air you need to keep the cake high and light.
Good Luck!
The recipe is in the McCalls best dessert book or I can post it if you would like.
