Recipe(tried): Red Salad

Salads - Assorted
This is a salad my husband has to have at every holiday meal. Hope it is what you are looking for.

RED SALAD

3 small boxes dry not prepared red jello(reg or sugar free)
1 jar crushed pineapple drained
1 large container small curd cottage cheese(pour off any extra liquid on top)
1 large container coolwhip(sorry low fat doesn't work)

Mix all together until a uniform color and consistancy.

I would think a jar of halved marrichino cherries would look nice also. If you want it redder try adding a little red food coloring.

This will not set up super hard but have a pudding to soft set jello thickness.
