Roasted Artichokes
Different twist to traditional steaming.
4 young artichokes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 minced garlic clove
1 pinch salt
1 pinch dried basil
Rinse artichokes. Cut off 1/4 of the artichoke and trim leaf tips.
Mix all ingredients and pour over chokes.
Cook in 400 degree oven until done.
