Recipe(tried): Round Steak with Gravy and Stuffing, Cheesy Green Bean Bake

Menus
Tonight for dinner I made Round Steak with Gravy and Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, and Cheesy Green Bean Bake. It was all very good. My dh has 3rds of the steak! He loved it. This was definately a homestyle meal.

Round Steak with Gravy and Stuffing

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
3 pounds round steak
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup water
1 onion, sliced
1 tablespoon beef bouillon
1 (6 ounce) package beef flavored stuffing mix
1/3 cup warm water
4 tablespoons butter

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2 In a small bowl, mix together the flour, seasoned salt, ground black pepper and garlic powder to taste. Cut the steak into 3x3 inch squares and coat with the flour mixture.

3 Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the steaks and saute until browned on both sides. Remove meat and set aside in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add the soup, water, onion and bouillon to the skillet, allow to heat through and pour over the meat.

4 In a separate small bowl, combine the stuffing mix, water and butter or margarine. Mix well and spread over the steaks and gravy.

5 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for at least one hour, or until steak is tender.

Cheesy Green Bean Bake

2 (16 ounce) packages French cut green beans
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 pound processed cheese food (eg. Velveeta), sliced

1 Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.

2 In a mixing bowl, combine mushroom soup, milk, and cheddar cheese. Mix together.

3 Layer the bottom of a 2 quart casserole dish with 1/2 of the green beans. Pour half of the soup mixture over beans, and add half of the processed cheese. Repeat layering.

4 Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

Hope you enjoy!
