Recipe(tried): Rustic Inn Garlic Crab

Main Dishes - Fish, Shellfish
About twenty years ago while eating garlic crab at the Rustic Inn Crabhouse, I asked our waitress for the recipe.
First she said they don't boil them in water. The blue crabs are cleaned live. They are then cooked for a short time (however long you cook crab and not overcook, can you tell I'm not a cook) in a mixture of olive oil, parsley, white pepper, and lots and lots of ground garlic. The waitress told us they take the entire bunch of garlic and put it through an old hand meat grinder.

We have cooked this a few times and it's always more garlicy and buttery after it's set in the pot for an hour or so. Of course this is with no heat under the pot so it's not overcooked. Good Luck, Abraham

PS Don't forget the killer garlic bread!
