Recipe: Savory Lamb Shanks

SAVORY LAMB SHANKS

4 lamb shanks
1 tbsp. flour
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. horseradish
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Dredge lamb in flour. Brown in hot oil. Place in casserole.

Stir remaining ingredients in the hot oil in the skillet. Pour over shanks.

Cook in 350 degree F oven for 1 hour. Lower temperature to 300 degrees F and cook for 1 more hour.

Makes 4 servings
