Recipe: Sesame Wafers (cookies, 1960's)

SESAME WAFERS

1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups sifted flour
1 cup toasted sesame seed
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix together sugar, butter, egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by half teaspoonfuls onto buttered cookie sheets; allow for spreading.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes.
