Recipe: Shrimp and Broccoli Quiche

Shrimp and Broccoli Quiche

unbaked pie shell
small pkg frozen pre-cooked shrimp (shelled and deveined)
about 1/2 bunch of broccoli (or you could use frozen)
Cheese, shredded (whatever type you want to use -- I've used cheddar, Swiss, Monterey Jack, etc.)
5 or 6 eggs
milk, half & half, or cream

Preheat oven to 350-400 degrees.

Place shrimp in an even layer in pie shell.

Pre-cook broccoli (not too tender as you are going to be baking this).

Scatter broccoli over shrimp. Sprinkle shredded cheese(s) over shrimp and broccoli

Mix eggs with milk (you want a medium yellow color); add salt, pepper (black, white, cayenne, or combination); add nutmeg and mix. Pour egg mixture into pie shell.

Bake about 50-60 min or till center doesn't wiggle too much if you shake gently (you could also test with knife).

You really can put all different things in this.
