Recipe(tried): Slow cooked sloppy joes

Sandwiches
Slow Cooked Sloppy Joes

I knew the move to our first house was going to be busy and tiring. I also knew I had to feed about 10 hungry men and 2 hungry women. So, I made these joes the night before and let them cook/heat in the crock pot for almost 24 hours. My boyfriend, who had hated sloppy joes, said these were the best ones he's ever had!!

4 lbs. hamburger
2 large onions choppped
1 bottle Famous Daves Spicy BBQ sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. mustard
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Cook hamburger and onion, drain. Mix in crock pot the cooked hamburger and onion and remaining ingredients. Salt, pepper and add garlic powder to taste.

The secret is to let the joes cook in the crock pot over low heat for at least 24 hours, stirring occasionally...what a wonderful flavor! The boys couldn't get enough!

Enjoy!
