Recipe: Southern-Style Fish Cassoulet (StarKist Tuna, 1990) (microwave)

SOUTHERN-STYLE FISH CASSOULET

"Serve this stew with hot cooked noodles, rice or corn bread."

1/4 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh okra
1 cup sliced onion
1 (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes with juice, cut up
1 (8 ounce) can niblet corn, drained
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can StarKist Tuna, drained and broken into chunks
1 (6 ounce) can minced clams, drained
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup water
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper

In a 3-quart microwavable casserole combine broth, okra and onion. Cover; micro-cook on High power for 1 1/2 minutes.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover; micro-cook on High for 12 to 14 minutes; stir twice.

Makes 4 servings
