I played football in college. The other four offensive lineman and I would get together before each game and have a Spaghetti dinner. We would serve it with French bread and if one of us needed to watch our weight a simple lettuce salad was added.
This is our recipe:
2 1/2 to 3 lbs Hamburger browned
1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
2 Packages spaghetti sauce mix
1 to 2 Tbsp. Italian Seasonig
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
Combine all of the above and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve over 2 Lbs. cooked spaghetti.
This served 5 very large appitites! I still serve it to my family of 7 and we have leftovers. Just a note too much garlic can cause a nasty for a huddle:]
