STICKY BONES
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 pounds bone-in beef short ribs
In a saucepan, combine vinegar, ketchup, honey, Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustard, paprika, garlic, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Set aside one cup for basting.
Place ribs in a greased roasting pan; pour marinade in saucepan over ribs. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
WHEN READY TO COOK:
Drain and discard marinade.
Bake, the meat uncovered, at 325 degrees F for one hour or until meat is tender, basting frequently with reserved cup of marinade.
