Recipe(tried): Strawberry Cheese Pie for Pat.....

Menus

Hi Pat,

I bet you can use any pie filling that comes in a can for this type of pie. Blueberry would be scrumptious and using strawberries would be yummy.

Here's the strawberry one becaue I don't think strawberries come in a can. This one uses fresh strawberries.

STRAWBERRY CHEESE PIE

1 pastry shell
1 pkg. cream cheese softened
1 14 oz. can condensed milk
1 t. vanilla
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 quart fresh strawberries
16 oz. jar strawberry glaze

Use a mixer to cream the cream cheese til fluffy. Gradually beat in the milk until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice and vanilla. Pour into the crust. Chill for 3 hours and then top with the berries (after you have washed and stemmed them; slice the tops off so they stand upside down nicely.) Pour glaze over.
