My mother always made a great strawberry rhubarb pie that I loved but never made myself. Over the years I enjoyed hers. However, she is gone now and I happened to see some good looking rhubarb in the supermarket recently and began thinking about her pies. I decided to look at this website to see if anyone had a recipe (as she hadn't shared hers with me, probably because she just always made it and we just always ate it!!) At any rate, your recipe sounded like it might be close to hers. I made it yesterday and nearly fell off my chair when I ate it. Although I would never have told her this, it was better than hers!! Thanks so much for sharing. The recipe will be used over and over again, I am sure. Kathy
