Recipe: Stuffed Green Pepper Soup (crock pot)

Stuffed Green Pepper Soup
(Slow Cooker)

2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained of fat
1 (28-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup uncooked rice
2 cups green peppers (about 2 peppers), chopped
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
Salt and pepper, to taste

Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook overnight on the low setting. Makes 8 to 10 main-course servings.
