Recipe(tried): Sunday Dinner at Our House - Marinade for Sirloin Steak, Loaded Baked Potatoes
Menus Hi, everyone! Kristin came home from school this weekend so I made some of her favorites for Sunday Dinner. Today we had: marinated sirloin steak that I grilled on the Healthy Maverick Grill, Loaded Baked Potatoes, Lipton's Garlic Risotto (it's great!), Mama's Angel Rolls, Earthquake Cake, sweet tea with lemon, and CLAUSSEN Pickles.
MARINADE FOR SIRLOIN STEAK
1 (16 oz.) bottle Oriental Orange Citrus Splash! Salad Dressing
3 tsps. sesame seed
2 T. red wine vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
4-6 T. olive oil
Mix the ingredients together well. Place the sirloin steak into a large Zip-Loc Bag and pour marinade over the steak. Place the plastic bag into the refrigerator and marinate overnight.
When ready to grill the steak, remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak until it is done to your liking.
LOADED BAKED POTATOES
1 large baking potato for each person to be served
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
3-4 bacon strips, fried, drained, and crumbled into small pieces
3-4 green onions, chopped into small pieces
sour cream
butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash the potatoes and spray each one with PAM. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place the potatoes on the baking sheet and allow to bake for 1 hour.
When potatoes are done, split each one open and allow each person to place the desired toppings on his/her baked potato.
I baked several extra potatoes and will be making something with them this week. I also grilled extra steak so that I will be able to make something with it this week, too.
I have already posted the recipes for Earthquake Cake and Mama's Angel Rolls.
Have a great week!
