Recipe(tried): Taco Salad

Taco Salad

1 lb. ground beef, brown and drain
1 pkg. Old El Paso Taco Seasoning mix
3/4 c. water
1 head lettuce shredded
1/2 onion, chopped
1 medium tomato chopped
1 can kidney beans, rinsed & drained
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 - 12 oz. pkg tortilla chips, broken
1 - 7 oz. bottle Catalina Dressing

Brown and drain ground beef. Add taco seasoning mix and water. Simmer 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Cool. In large bowl toss lettuce, onion, tomato, beans, and cheese. Add ground beef mixture, chips and dressing. Toss well and serve.
Serves 8.
