Recipe(tried): TAPS, this is the broccoli salad........

Salads - Assorted
recipe that I use. I found it in AUNT BEE'S MAYBERRY COOKBOOK. There are some really wonderful recipes in that cookbook!

BEE'S BROCCOLI SALAD

1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing (Miracle Whip)
2 T. red wine vinegar
1/4-1/3 cup sugar
1 bunch broccoli, broken into florets
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/2 cup raisins
8-10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 red bell pepper, diced (my own addition)

Combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Just before serving, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour the salad dressing over the salad and mix well. Serve chilled. Serves 4-6.

The great thing about this salad is that the longer that the broccoli salad stays in the refrigerator, the better the salad is!

I hope that your family enjoys it!
