Recipe: The Best Chili Meal

The Best Chili Meal

Servings: 4-6

1 lb ground beef or ground buffalo
1 tbsp dried minced onion flakes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp pepper
1 can chili beans
1 can red beans
1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chiles)
1 packet chili seasoning mix (like McCormick)
crushed Fritos
shredded Cheddar/Monterey jack, and pepper jack cheeses
sour cream
salsa
guacamole

Brown ground beef in large saucepan with garlic powder, pepper, and onion.
Add beans, Rotel, and chili seasoning packet.
Let simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
In small cake pan, layer Fritos, chili, and cheeses, broil till cheese melts and bubbles. Serve with toppings.
