Recipe: Three Layer Raisin Pie - Do you think the filling may have had cream cheese in it?
Desserts - Pies and TartsI have searched the net and came up with a Three Layer Raisin Pie containing cream cheese. I am typing the recipe here:
THREE LAYER RAISIN PIE
1 cup chopped raisins
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon butter
1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup whipped cream
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
In a medium saucepan, combine raisins, sour cream, sugar, eggs, salt, spices and butter. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook on low until thick, stirring constantly.
In a large bowl, blend together cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.
Spread half of cream cheese mixture into pie shell. Add raisin mixture, then top with remaining cream cheese mixture. Chill until firm.

I have not made this recipe, but, thought you would be interested in seeing it.
A note from Betsy at Recipelink:
Thanks for posting this recipe Gay. The recipe doesn't say, but I think the raisin mixture may need to cool (maybe just to room temperature) before assembling the pie. I think if it's layered in hot it will melt the cream cheese-whipped cream mixture. Just a suggestion!
