SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE
FOR THE EASY ALMOND PIE CRUST:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup Dole chopped almonds, toasted
1 cup margarine
FOR THE RAISIN FILLING:
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 cup Dole raisins (or any brand)
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
TO MAKE THE CRUST:
Combine all ingredients for the crust in bowl. Mix until texture of coarse crumbs. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remaining crumbs in a 10-inch pie plate to form crust.
Bake in 425 degree F oven 8 minutes. Remove from oven to cool.
Reduce oven to 350 degrees F.
TO MAKE THE FILLING:
Combine all ingredients for the filling together. Pour into pre-baked crust. Sprinkle top with reserved crumbs.
Bake in 350 degree F oven 35 to 40 minutes. Cool before serving. Refrigerate.
Makes 1 (10-inch) pie, 12 servings
