Fill the Cast Iron Cornstick or Cornbread Pan to 3/4 full and see how the first batch bakes up. It should come right to the top. If it runs over then fill only 1/2 full. Just a note: Place butter in each of the section and place pan in a hot oven until hot. The fill the pan and bake. Make sure you give your batter some time to rest before filling the pan. This way you get a "crown" Good Luck!
