This information contains the original ingredients of Nabisco Zweiback toast, note the spices. These are necessary for making a Zweiback Pie. Brandt Zweiback is the closest thing I have found to Nabisco Zweiback. A 1/2 tsp each of nutmeg, mace, and cinnamon is what I am going to try when making my zweiback pies. Without these spices it just will not taste right. I sure wish Nabisco Zweiback was still available.
