This is my daughter's sugar cookie recipe and it is so easy and DELISH :) :) We have scads of people requesting them every year (buying).
TONIA'S ROLLED SUGAR COOKIES
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs beaten
1 Tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease baking sheets.
Mix flour, sugar, and butter together with a fork (do not use mixer); set aside.
Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, and baking soda together well and add to flour mixture. Stir WITH FORK and finish mixing with hands.
Roll dough out on lightly floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters and place on prepared baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees F 7 to 9 minutes (be careful to not over bake). Cool cookies, then frost and decorate.
