Recipe(tried): Turkey-a day ahead

Main Dishes - Chicken, Poultry
My Mom often did this if we were having a large crowd for a holiday meal. After roasting the turkey she spread the dressing (taken from the turkey cavity) in the bottom of a couple baking dishes, layered the sliced turkey on top of that, drizzled the meat with gravy, covered with aluminum foil and the next day just popped them in the oven to reheat. I recall that she made one dish with white meat and one with dark and it was easy and perfect for a buffet.
