Recipe(tried): Vegetarian Version of Lettuce Wraps
Appetizers and SnacksInstead of tofu, use textured vegetable protein or TVP. It is a soy based meat substitute that is the perfect consistency for this recipe. It can be found in health food stores and it works just as good or even better than ground chicken because it does not form clumps. I use about 1 1/2 to 2 cups dry which makes 2 to 4 cups when prepared with water. delicious!
