Recipe: Queso Crostini

Appetizers and Snacks
QUESO CROSTINI

12 slices Organic Artisan Bread
organic extra virgin olive oil for brushing
6 oz fresh goat cheese, at room temperature
1 cup Frontera Salsa, such as Roasted Poblano, warmed
fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish
Parmesan cheese, grated, for garnish

Slice Artisan Bread into 1/2-inch thick rounds. (Or, cut 2 sides off each hamburger bun bottom; cut the bottom diagonally in half to make 2 rustic triangles. Repeat with the bun tops.)

Brush bread slices or triangles generously on both sides with olive oil.

Grill on grill pan over medium heat, pressing lightly. Turn and toast other side.

In a bowl, mix goat cheese or cream cheese with 1/2 cup warm salsa.

While the bread is still warm, top with the cheese mixture, then a spoonful of remaining warm salsa. Sprinkle with cilantro and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm.
