WELBILT BREAD MACHINE JAM (BASIC RECIPE)
Source: Welbilt ABM3900 (1 1/2 lb) Bread Machine Manual
Use Setting 11
For other jams, follow the same basic recipe, only substituting the desired fresh fruit ingredient.
3 cups crushed fresh strawberries (or other types of fruit)
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 pkg (50g or 3 fl. oz.) powdered pectin
Measure the ingredients into the baking pan.
Insert the pan securely into baking unit, close lid.
Select #11. Push Start button.
The breadmaker will beep 3 times and the display will flash "END" when the jam is done.
Using oven mitts, remove pan from unit.
Store jam in refrigerator.
Tip: If you find that your jam is not thick enough, you may restart the jam cycle again.
Hi Tina,
Regarding your question about the start of the whole wheat bread cycle, with whole wheat bread there may be a rest cycle of 30 minutes for your machine before the first kneading starts and it can take at least 4 1/2 hours before you have a finished whole wheat loaf. If you have a rapid whole wheat cycle, that will change the rest time to 15 minutes and the total time to at least 3 hours and 20 minutes.
I hope that's a help!
Happy Baking,
Betsy
