Whole Wheat Berry Pudding
2 cups cooked whole wheat berries
3 cups milk
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup honey
1 cup raisins
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 teaspoon mace
2 cups fresh berries
peaches or applesauce
Preheat the oven to 325 F. degrees.
Mix together all the ingredients except the fruit and turn into a well buttered baking dish or casserole. Bake one hour or until set.
Serve warm or cold, topped with the fruit.
Yield: Six servings.
