Recipe(tried): Yam Pie

Yam Pie

2 cups yam, cooked and mashed
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix well and pour into unbaked pie shell (9-inch). Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour. If desired add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon allspice.
