Yams, bourbon

1 29 oz whole sweet otatoes or about 3-4 fresh ( if using fresh yams, cook about 30 minutues until just tender Let cool
3 tblsp. butter or oleo
3 tblsp. brown sugar
3 tblsp. orange juice
3 tblsp. bourbon

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 cup (optional chopped pecans, toasted)
Place sliced potatoes in a lightly oiled 8 inch sq. dish. combine butter and next 6 ingredients. pour over potatoes. sprinkle with Pecans. bake 350 degrees for 25-30 min. or until thoroughly heated. serves 4.
