ISO: Angel Biscuits NO SUGAR
Misc.I found a recipie in a magzanine in the 60's or early 70's for Angel Biscuits - it did not use sugar in the recipie - - my wife (diabetic) made these on occassion and they were delicious and light - BUT NO SUGAR was called for - -
I remember selfrising flour, lard, buttermilk, yeast BUT NO SUGAR was added to the mixture at all - - refridg over night - cover, let rise - next day - let it come to room temp - and lightly flour board and roll out - - the recipie has been lost and my wife has now passed away - but I know someone must have like this recipie, tried it and kept it - it was simple - but delicious and I certainly would like to have the recipie to enjoy "old times" again. THANKS SO MUCH! !
