ISO: Apple Butter vs. Apple Sauce

I have a recipe I'd like to try which calls for Apple Butter (for use in a marinade). I'm having trouble tracking down a recipe - if anyone has one they like - I'd love it! Also, what is the difference between apple butter and apple sauce? Could they be used interchangeably?

My recipe calls for the apple butter to be mixed with Dijon mustard and used on pork tenderloin.
