ISO: beef short ribs
Misc.A family restaurant in town used to make the best beef short ribs, but discontinued them; I asked for the recipe, but got a no--who knows why; they don't sell them anymore.
I think they baked them. Along with the short ribs there was a little carrot, onion and celery; not enough to call it a side dish, just a little of the veggies and a gravy type sauce, but not heavy like regular gravy..I think it had a reddish tint to it.
Sorry the description is so long, but this is my first time posting/requesting . Also I'd like to get a recipe that's close to it, because my dad who is 94 and my mom is 92 used to go there every Thursday when the short ribs were made. I would love to surprise them. Thanks for any suggestions!
