ISO: California Tongue (whole beef tonuge) from 1940's cookbook

I am looking for the recipe for "California Tongue" which appeared in the gourmet version of "American Cooking" which was being sold new in 1942. It was for whole beef tongue in a sauce which I think was tomato based and I know had raisins in it. The cookbook was thick, with a green cover. and the inside face plate showed pictures of fancy candies such as you would buy in a See's Candy store.
