ISO: Coconut Marshmallows

Does anyone have a recipe for those "way back when" marshmallows that are
made into squares and then coated in coconut? I had them in Newfoundland
while on a "whale watching expedition" and forgot to get the recipe from the
kind woman who sent along munchies!!! My kids loved them.
