ISO: crushed pineapple topping for ice cream

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been looking and looking for a recipe for crushed pineapple topping for ice cream like what one would use on an banana split. I'd like to make this for myself and not buy the topping but I can't seem to find a recipe anywhere. If anyone has anything for me, I'd sure be grateful. Thank you.
