ISO: Cuco's Salsa Especiale

Many years ago I worked for Cuco's Mexican Restaurant, based mainly in the southeast. Instead of using a red salsa on most of their dishes they used a light brown, peppery salsa. I loved it! But I never got the recipe for it. Does anyone out their know where I could possibly obtain this recipe.
