ISO: Famous-Barr Cheesecake
Misc. My mother grew up in the St. Louis area and feasted on Famous-Barr's Chiffon Cheesecake. Of course, as we all know, Famous-Barr no longer has their bakery--I can't buy her favorite dessert. I have been on the web and even contacted their corporate offices; the restaurant says that recipe was destroyed many years ago. There must be someone out there with the recipe for this delectable dessert. You are my last hope. If you know anyone that can assist me in my quest, please help me.
