ISO: Freezing PB&J sandwiches

Misc.
When I make sandwiches with meat for school lunches, I always freeze them the night before so they stay cold and thaw by lunchtime. But curious what you do with PB&J sandwiches. I'm sure most people don't worry about them -- probably can't get sick from PB&J left in a backpack for 5 hours -- but I worry!

I have read that freezing PB&J makes the bread soggy. I always put peanut butter on both sides and then put jelly on and freeze it for about an hour before it goes in my little one's backpack for school. She never complains about a soggy sandwich but I wonder. I probably should just try it myself.

Anyone else worry about things like this?!!!
