ISO: French Turkey (or Chicken) Roll
Misc.I watched a video a few years ago about how to debone a bird keeping all the meat in one piece flat on the cutting board. One can then spread a stuffing mix atop and roll (or curl if you love lots of stuffing). The "loaf" is then tied and browned on the exterior and cooked however you like to do your bird. I am planning to do this Thanksgiving day with two turkeys. Does anyone have a recipe regarding this technique called (I believe) "The French Chicken Roll"? If anyone has a heavenly stuffing recipe w/o celery or nuts, it would be appreciated.
Thanks
