ISO: General's Chicnese Chicken

Misc.

Help!!! General's Chinese Chicken. My local Chinese rest. just got bought out by some college kids and they thrrew out grandma's recipe for "General's Chicken." They use to make it kinda hot n' spicey. I would really apppreciate it if anyone out there could e-mail me their best recipe. Also, they used to have a spicey red suace, that was served as a gereal condiment, (had a red color with a kind of a peppery-pulpy texture with lots of seeds) that had its own distintive taste - Does anyone know what that's called? Please e-mail me
Thank you!
