ISO: Hawaiian style butter rolls (NOT Hawaiian style bread)
Misc.In Hawaii you can find these butter rolls at every bakery. They are not like the Hawaiian style bread that there are so many recipes on the internet for. These appear to have been baked in a muffin tin cuz they look like a "chef's hat" when done. It also seems that a tiny bit of butter is placed beneath each roll before it is baked as the bottom is very buttery. The texture is that of a very light roll. It is not a parkerhouse roll or a muffin. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Got any ideas how to make these? I'm willing to try just about anything - lol. TIA!
