ISO: I have a really dumb

Misc.

question....Is smoked salmon made with cooked salmon or is it smoked raw
salmon? Smoking fish or meat does not cook the meat, does it? I tend to not
think so. The packages of smoked salmon don't give me the information I'm
looking for.
