I really do think you ought to write a book, David! All of these great recipes and bits of information that are so interesting.
Now about Summers County. My connection there was that my grandmother inherited a house from my step grandfather ( that's a real long story!), her second of three husbands. That house is now known as the Graham House, but we always called it Lowell. I guess because it's located on a little bit of the road called, you guessed it, Lowell. The closest thing to it is Alderson. I bet you know where that is! Any way I really never got over her selling that place, but I love the memories I have of being there.
Thanks for the blueberry tip! It is the same thing my late mother-in-law told me to do with them. I guess she knew what she was talking about!
